Time does fly. And it flies fast.  We are in day 258 in the year 2014 calendar. All what I can say at this moment is “I am lucky to be where I am today, I am privileged to have what I have” thank God.  However, I still need to work on some aspects of my life and more importantly to keep up with my New Year’s Resolutions.

107 days remain until the New Year 2015 and as time passes, I began to realize that the previous 258-day journey has taught me so many valuable lessons.

It taught me to never trust anyone but myself and my own sense of what is right as this has been the best self-gudiance ever (in my humble opinion).

2660 To be patient as in life, there are many problems that cannot be solved overnight. Patience is a necessity.

To stay faithful and not be prudent to take  a leap in the dark. To not lower my expectations even if people around me tell me otherwise.

Change is always good, and from time to time, I need to tweak my lifestyles.

The first secret to happiness is to fall in love with yourself.

Good company is a key, because we become who we hang out with.

I never know what I have until I lose it, and once I lose it I can never get it back

I can start a revolution and most of the time I do not need the help from other people.

To laugh at myself and let little things go.

And finally to not underestimate myself.

                                                                           Have a lovely night everyone:)

Happy New (School) Year

School is here, the change from the routines of summer to a new schedule is often identifies as the cause of stress, anxiety and worries. Whether you have been away from school for a short period of time or for several years, you may experience these feeling during the first few days o school. It is unavoidable and I am sure that all the students out there can relate to that.

Returning students sometimes face the unknown and the unfamiliar. They may wonder if they will finish this time, how long it will take to finish and what lies at the end of the journey.

Here are some tips to ease Back to School Anxiety.  Eat well, drink water, exercise, breath deeply and don’t forget to set a positive, optimistic tone to help you get through the ups and downs of the daily life of school.

Good Luck :)

Snail Mail

Yay !!! I just received a snail mail from my talented photographer.

I love snail mail, I love anything that can arrive with a postage stamp. There’s something universally appealing about hand-written letters, It carries ‘more than words’, it carries the sender’s breath, perfume and hands on the letter. Not like the cold and empty E-mails.

A day in Victoria

Hello Everyone.

Last week, I took a lovely peaceful day out away from the hustle and bustle of the daily life. I spend the day with my friend, wandered around Victoria – Canada.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, we went to Jam Cafe in Downtown Victoria, a great breakfast spot.  I loved the ambiance, the menu selections are outstanding and the restaurant’s decor is really creative. Simply awesome.

The only thing I hated it about Jam that we had to wait 30 minutes before getting seated.

I really enjoy visiting Victoria, there are many things to do in the city centre and a day can easily fly by. Whether you want a busy night bar, relaxing spa centre or a day out on the water fishing and watching whales.

Have you had an amazing experience in Victoria?
